Using your GO MasterCard

The ideal card for all purchases big or small, the GO MasterCard can help you get even more for your money. Here’s how to make the most of your GO MasterCard.

Activating your card:

For security reasons, you will need to activate your card before you start using it. Once you’ve received your PIN in the mail (a few days after your receive your card), call 1300 004 646 to activate. You can now enjoy smarter shopping.

Once activated, you can use our Online Service Centre to manage your account.

Additional cardholders:

To share the convenience of GO MasterCard with a family member or loved one, please call 1300 462 273 and ask for an additional cardholder application form.

Making everyday credit card purchases:

Use your GO MasterCard anywhere in the world that accepts MasterCard.

To take advantage of up to 62 days Interest Free on everyday Credit Card purchases, you must pay the full balance of the account (excluding unexpired Interest Free promotional plans), both for the statement before the purchases were made, and the statement on which the purchases are listed.

Making Interest Free purchases:

To make an Interest Free purchase, just present your GO MasterCard or your driver's licence at any participating retailer. You can then purchase up to your available credit limit.

Accessing cash:

You can access cash with your GO MasterCard from any ATM displaying the MasterCard or Cirrus logo.

Please note, cash advances will be charged interest from the day of the withdrawal.

Cash advances are also subject to a fee of 3% or $3.00, whichever is greater.
