Manage your GO MasterCard Account

The smarter way to purchase Interest Free is also the smarter way to manage your account and stay on top of your finances.

Monthly statements

As a GO MasterCard customer, you'll receive a monthly statement (if you have activity on your account). If you have a paper statement delivered by mail you'll be charged .50c every month. To opt out of paper statements, register for the Online Service Centre, and follow the instructions.

Each statement outlines your transactions over the last month and the minimum monthly payment required by a due date.

The minimum monthly payment is 3% of the total outstanding balance, or $25, whichever is greater, plus any installment payments due in the statement period.

Your statement will also ask you to pay any overdue or over-limit amounts.

If you have any questions regarding your statement, please call our Customer Solutions team on
1300 462 273.

Managing your account online

With the Online Service Centre, you can access a range of tools that make it even easier to manage your GO MasterCard account.

  • You can save .50c each month in paper statement

  • Self-manage your account details and review account status, such as transactions, credit limits.

  • Convenience of receiving payment confirmations and other alerts 24/7.

Staying on top of your Interest Free payments

Making regular monthly payments is a good way to pay off your Interest Free purchase. In order to pay off the amount before your Interest Free period expires, you will have to pay more than the minimum balance, as the minimum balance is calculated at 3% of your outstanding balance owing.

Direct debit is a great way to make sure you make repayments without the risk of incurring overdue fees.

There are no penalties for paying off the Interest Free purchase before your Interest Free period expires.

Payments after the Interest Free period

If you haven't paid off your purchases within the Interest Free period, you will be charged interest on the outstanding amount from the date your Interest Free period expired. This interest will not be backdated.

Going over your credit limit

For your convenience, we've introduced a credit limit alert that informs you via SMS, phone call or post within 2 days of your account going over the limit.

There are no charges for going over your credit limit, but you may not be able to make some transactions until the balance has been reduced.

Increasing your credit limit

You can apply for a credit limit increase simply by calling our Customer Solutions Team on 1300 46 2273.
